Traditionally spelled as Nālani, this name is evocative of tranquil island escapes. Combining the popular Hawaiian element lani ("sky, heaven, chief") with nā ("the (plural)" or "quiet, calm"), it debuted in the US Top 1000 in 2016.

A unisex choice in Hawaii, in the US, it was a first rising choice for girls in 2025, speeding up the charts alongside Kailani, Ailani, Leilani, and other Hawaiian (and pseudo-Hawaiian) names.
