The main reason I'm not keen on Zizi is that it feels much too similar to Zazu. I think Zizi would make a nice nickname, but it definitely feels it would require a longer name which is more acceptable for adulthood. The same goes for names like Coco, Lala, Kiki, Zaza and Kiko.

"That's just rude," was my very first thought upon reading the name description.

Yup. My middle name is actually Zizi and I live in the Caribbean and people think it's so unique. The description is rude!

Yeah, just because a baby name isn't common in the states, doesn't mean it isn't common somewhere else. Zizi is a gorgeous name, and the description rubbed me the wrong way.

To be honest, I'm finding most of the "exotic" (read: not white) names end up with rude descriptions and/or racist, unforgiving comments.

Cannot believe the ignorance in the name description here. Yes if you give your completely English red-headed daughter a name like Zizi it might be perceived as a little eccentric, but what about a child with African heritage? Perhaps even with a grandmother or Aunt with this name? To describe a legitimate and quite lovely name from another culture as "fluffy lapdog, cancan dancer" is unbelievably rude, offensive and ignorant.
