Many people I bring this name up to still think it's ridiculous, but I think Parson is not that much different than the name Carson. I don't particularly care for the meaning behind it. Also, I tend to think of the Christmas song "Winter Wonderland" when I hear this name. ("In the meadow we can build a snowman/And pretend that he's Parson Brown.")
