This spelling is to Jane what a dusty orange shag carpet is to a sleek Persian rug. It was trending once before, but now it pales in comparison to the long enduring original.

I do really like this spelling of Jayne, and yet, I appreciate the simplicity of Jane, especially helped by the Jane Austen connection.

My partner want's Jayne to be the second name in our double barrel name :/ I don't like Jayne I think it's outdated plain and just boring just got nothing going for it, He wants Sarah-Jayne which is even worse but we've compromised on Scarlett-Jayne still think Jayne ruins it though Would love Scarlett-Rae or even Elodie-Rae xx

There is a certain appeal to Jayne but I still prefer Jane.
