I love -ella names, and Finella is very attractive sounding. I don't think I would ever use it because the two times I've ever heard the name in the wild (so to speak) have negative associations. Fenella Bowes-Lyon was the name of the not-so-nice mother of Queen Elizabeth's mentally handicapped cousins, and Finella Lorck was one of the aliases of the ill-fated and mysterious Isdal Woman. It's only a personal gripe with the name, I doubt many people would make either association.
