One of our cockatiels is named Ed. It's super cute. I love Edmund, Edward, Edwin and Edgar, and Ed is my favourite nickname for any of those. I adore Edwina, too - so beautiful - and Edie or Eddie both sound lovely for a girl. I don't know why I like Eddie for a girl, so much more than for a boy. I think Winnie for Edwina works, too.
