Easton is the kind of trendy surname name I shrug at; I think it's alright, no huge objection over it but I don't really like it either. My primary association with it is that Kim and Kanye would probably name a baby of theirs this, following in their direction-themed, joke-name baby naming tradition. That, and it sounds like Eastman to me, as in the Eastman School of Music.
