I knew someone my age with this name years ago (in his 20s now) but I can totally see it catching on now since it sounds more on-trend. IMO the meaning is somewhat unflattering and I'm not a fan of his poetry, but nonetheless this name has a nice chime to it.

I have a degree in creative writing, poetry, so when I was young it was a big part of my life. Dryden as a name does fit very well with the -den trend while still being a name of note and with history.
