Techno

We count Techno among the weird celebrity baby names, and yet we have to admit that it's the perfect choice for a child of Grimes and Elon Musk.

In musical terms, techno is a style of electronic dance music that emerged in the 1980s. While Grimes' music isn't specifically techno, her sound is influenced by the style. Of course, techno is also the root of the word technology, in which Musk is an industry leader.

Techno won't grace many birth certificates beyond that of Baby Musk — his nickname, Tau, is more approachable.

Pronounced TEK-noh.
