Meiomi

Coastal California was originally home to the Wappo and Yuki tribes, among whom the word meiomi meant "coast". Today, Meiomi is the name of a mid-price wine brand that's inspiring the parents of baby girls (albeit very quietly).

Meiomi debuted on the US charts in 2021, when it was given to 10 baby girls, while a more recent year saw it given to just six. The tides may yet turn for Meiomi however, thanks to that 'may' sound and the stylish -omi ending.

Pronounced may-OH-mee.

As of October 2026, Meiomi ranked #14343 for girls in US births in 2025 SSA, peaked at #9322 for girls in 2024.
