It most certainly deserves it's own page

I love this name! The spelling is there to eliminate mispronounciation because my son's name is not hah-vi-ere it's x-zavier, although Javier/Xavier is a good name. People need to stop judging especially when they are ignorant to the reason or meaning behind something they don't understand. Who are they to determine whether a name is good or not? This is a wonderful name and a very good choice.

Tell me about it. It's bad enough that people pronounce Xavier this way, let alone use this ridiculous spelling. The fact that it is actually popular...!!!

indiefendi2 Says:

the fact that this is even in the Top 1000 unsettles me.

alexandramae Says:

Xavier has multiple pronunciations - Hah-vee-air, Zay-vee-er, and X-zay-vee-er. This just eliminates confusion.

The Xz combo is unnatural and really irks me. I want to throw the Z out the Window. Parents can be creative, but there's a fine line between creative and ridiculous in terms of baby names. This has crossed that line.
