You're right in Spanish it should be Teh-o-dor-ah as well. I don't know where they got the "tay"

This shouldn't be pronounced with that 'ay' sound! It should be pronounced teh-o-dor-ah, at least it is that way in Italian and Polish, I can't tell about Spanish and Swedish though but this is probably another name whose prn you're butchering.

I think I might actually prefer this to Theodora. The 'ay' sound makes it very appealing.

I do prefer Thea to Tea/Taya for some reason though.

I also prefer Theodore to the female variations. Teddy is a great nickname for all but I prefer it on a boy.

Teodoro has a fantastic sound to it but perhaps a bit too foreign sounding for me to get away with!
