Ok so it looks like the creature Qilin is in pinyin so it would be pronounce chee-lin. Idk who these celebs are but if the celebs are pronoucing Qirin as Kieran, then they seem to be using the Japanese pronounciation which is spelled Kirin. I guess they can pronounce it however they want but I hope they don't go around saying that it's the Chinese pronounciation because it's not
