I fell in love with this name when I first heard it on the anime "Tears to Tiara".

I love the name Primula. Not cause of LOTR, as I wasn't aware of that reference until recently. I heard it first on an Anime and it struck a chord. It is a lovely feminine name with nature themes. So into that. I like the nn Ula more then Prim, but if I were to use it she has options. However, Primula taken from the latin primulus meaning first, is a genus of flowers that bloom first in spring, which does include the primrose but many others too. So the meaning of the name isn't the "first rose" like for Primrose, but "first to bloom". Which I think is all the more sweeter for a girl.

Primula Baggins! This name will always hold a special place in my heart because it's Frodo's mom, but I would never use it.

This is a brand of squeezy cheese in Britain. Don't do it.
