I would have assumed, without looking at the description, that this was pronounced like Milo with an N: "NIGH-low". As it's short for Spanish Danilo, I'm guessing it's "NEE-low". I like it, and I like the river connection, but I think pronunciation would be an issue in an anglophone country.
