I really like this name. I've always loved the name Isabella, but since it's way too popular for me to use, I like this as an alternative, similar name :)
And there are many nicknames: Bella, Ella, Ellie, Mira, Mia,and my personal favorite: Miri. :) It's a really cute name a little girl can grow into.

I adore this name! I have a Mirabella in my class, which is where I first heard it. Anyway it's so lovely and has plenty of nickname options; I'm fond of Miri as a nickname.

Absolutely gorgeous, also love Mirabel or Mirabelle

Eleri Gwenllian Says:

Very beautiful name, much more spirited than Mirabelle - which reminds me of a listless lovelorn shepherdess. Mirabella ("Miri") is gorgeous.

Nozomi Says:

This literally translates to "Look, beautiful" in spanish, however I kind of like the name I can at least see the appeal people might have towards the name. Not the greatest but not the worst.

Swangirl Says:

I think this is soooo beautiful! You could call your little Mirabella "Mira" if there were too many other Bellas in your neighborhood... Such a sweet, charming, elegant, feminine name :)

Essa Says:

A great alternative to the ever so popular Isabella (and many other Bella names). I think this would be really cute with the nickname Mim, slightly stretch but I think it works.

Essa Says:

But to me Mira on his own is pronounced like M-eye-ruh whereas in Mirabella it's pronounced M-ih-ruh like the i from tilt. Am I incorrect? That's just how I always thought it was.

lynn_wentworth Says:

I think it is a beautiful name, but a bit of a mouthful with 4 syllables. I think I would prefer Mira as a standalone name and then Belle or Bella as a middle. Mira Belle ______ or Mira Bella ______.

Caroline Says:

I only like the Bella, I don't like the Mira.
