In French Jules is totally a boys' name, but in English I like it better for a girl. I'd make it a nickname for Giulia just so that she can choose which name to go by when in a francophone country.

I like Jules better than Julia, Juliette and all those names. Really cute.

I would prefer to use Jewel as a nickname for Julie, Julia, Juliet et cetera. Jules is a boys' name for me. Jules Verne!

I can't imagine this ever having been a middle aged man name.

Definitely not as a full name. There are prettier, longer forms like Julia, Juliet, or Juliana.

Since I love Pulp Fiction so much I'm definitely planning on using this one! It's so cute. Gemma and Jules would be my set if I have twins 😊
