I imagine that every time people meet a person named Banana, they are singing (either out loud or in their heads) the "Banana-nana-fo-fana" song (please feel free to correct my song lyrics).

Mirabella is pretty but Prunella sounds like constipation medicine.

Vespertinerose Says:

2014-08-01T07:30:32

Mirabella, Apheline, Pomeline, and Prunella are REAL and LEGIT names, some even have a longer history in use more so than Clementine. Point is, they don't necessarily ADVERTISE the food group they are in. This helps and gives more options. :-)

Giinkies Says:

2014-07-28T00:44:42

I'd recommend that you name your kid Anna or Hannah and use this as a nickname.

Nooshi Says:

2014-07-27T06:45:21

Has anyone actually named their child Banana, or is this hypothetical?

Hydra Says:

2014-07-27T04:02:25

I like bananas, but not enough to name my kid Banana. Unless it's banana smoothies.........then something could happen.

faithnamer Says:

2014-07-27T03:32:01

"Hahahaha!" - The reaction she would get after she told anyone her name :)

Guest Says:

2014-07-27T01:02:35

Clementine is the best alternative because it's a real name. Any other food name is just stupid to me.

Vespertinerose Says:

2014-07-27T00:22:38

Well, there nothing new under the sun. Mirabella, Apheline or Pomeline or Prunella, or even Clementine might be better options. They do not advertise the fruit in question, if it is a big issue. :-)

Theodora_Phoenix Says:

2014-07-26T23:12:00

Yeah I don't kniw why it says that. Plum isn't much better and would make a terrible name. I

Guest Says:

2014-07-26T19:10:05

Don't pick Plum instead. Not Plum, Cherry, Apple, Olive, Strawberry, Cinnamon, whatever. Just DON'T.

fuzzycub Says:

2014-07-26T18:30:37

SarahMarie Says:
