Right, like way to wrongly imply a name is made up.

We are planning to use Ardith as a middle name after my husbands grandma. She doesn’t like her name and neither did my grandma, Harriet. They have told us not to name our kids after them. Subsequently no one has with over 30 potential babies to date. I think it has more to do with its out-dated quality. But I love attic names, Have no problem with granny/Victorian style. So we plan to revive it and know the person she is named after is more important than the name itself. So, I still think she will be excited to finally have a namesake. We are pairing it with 1st name Elowyn, which is also a nature name meaning "Elm" which is nice with “flowering fields” meaning for Ardith.

once again nameberry has put their opinion in the wrong section. An opinion should not be included in the meaning of a name.

If it's from the Bible, then the meaning section should state this instead of simply saying it's a combo of Arden and Edith.
