I think Annalee is kind of clunky and trashy sounding in comparison to Annelise and any name that can be shortened to Anal should be banned.

I really don't like these combined names. It seems like parents try so hard by making their own names by mixing their favorite names up. Also, this name is not nice sounding.. at all...

I completely agree

Terrible. This name is too close to Anal & anally. Similar to how every spelling of Annalise comes too close to Anal Ease.

I've always thought "Annalee" was a very pretty name... That was the name of Winona Ryder's character in the 1997 movie "Alien:Resurrection". I also took care of a lady named Annalee; she was a patient of mine who was very nice. (I'm a nurse.) :) I'm surprised that this name isn't more common. It's easy to pronounce, say, and spell.

Any interesting alternative spellings? Anilee, Annaley, Annilie... All of the above seem a little too made up :)
