Leto is the titaness of motherhood (there's a title!) and, with Zeus, mother of the twin Olympians Artemis and Apollo. Simple, sleek, and unique, Leto is one mythological name for girls we might expect to hear a lot more of.

Liezl is a feminine name primarily used in Filipino and South African communities, derived from the German name Liesl, which is a diminutive of Elisabeth. The name carries a sweet, affectionate quality, as diminutives in German culture often convey closeness and endearment. The spelling variation with 'z' instead of 's' gives it a distinctive visual character while maintaining the original pronunciation. In the Philippines, the name gained recognition through Filipino-German actress Liezl Martinez. Relatively uncommon in English-speaking countries, Liezl offers a charming alternative to more familiar Elizabeth derivatives while maintaining the connection to this classic name. It combines European heritage with a contemporary feel that works well across cultural boundaries.
