Scout, a character nickname from To Kill a Mockingbird (her real name was Jean Louise), became a real-life possibility when Bruce Willis and Demi Moore used it for their now-grown middle daughter, followed by Tom Berenger a few years later.

It was picked by skater Tai Babilonia for her son and Kerri Walsh for her daughter Scout Margery. A unisex choice that is growing in popularity for both genders—but given to girls about four times more often than to boys.
It makes a virtuous, upstanding choice for a girl—a good scout. Scout entered the US Top 1000 for the first time in 2018.

Holland, like most place names, is intrinsically gender neutral, but in practice today it's mostly female. There's about one boy Holland born in the US these days for every five girl Hollands. That's a reversal of the last century, when Holland peaked as a boys' name in 1893, falling off the Top 1000 completely in 1913.
A hundred years later, Holland entered the Top 1000 for girls, now ranking in the top 600 for baby girls in the US. Last year, about 500 baby girls were named Holland in the US versus only a little more than 100 baby boys.
