Guilty Pleasures - Girls Names

Here are some of my favourite, unfortunately unusable girl names. Most of them are nature, place, word or international exotic names.

Comet

- Description:
  Soaring astral name has a great gender-free feel. It also has a pleasing christmas connotation, courtesy of the reindeer listed in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Etna
- Description:
  Etna is a feminine name derived from Mount Etna, the famous active volcano on the east coast of Sicily, Italy. The name carries strong associations with natural power and intensity. In Greek mythology, Mount Etna was believed to be the workshop of Hephaestus, the god of fire and metalworking, or the location where the monster Typhon was trapped by Zeus. - Description:
  Authentic, melodic place-name for the adventurous, chosen by rapper LL Cool J for his daughter and given to nearly 80 baby girls in the US last year. Italia of course is what the Italians call Italy.

- Meaning:
  "fate"
- Description:
  The next Destiny? Kismet seems like it might be fated for increased use.
Lillemor
- Origin:
  Scandinavia
- Meaning:
  "little mother"
- Description:
  Lillemor is a relatively recent coinage in Scandinavia, where it was most popular in the 1930s and '40s, especially in Sweden. As such, it is considered rather dated in Scandinavia, but it would certainly make a fresh choice for lovers of "Lily" names abroad — although the "Lil" in this case actually comes from lille "little".
