Names I like and would possibly use in the future. Most are classics and vary in popularity

Ramona is a sweet spot name – neither too trendy nor too eccentric. Kids will associate it with the clever Ramona Quimby character in the series of books by Beverly Cleary, also seen on TV. It was chosen by starcouple Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard for their little girl, who would be joined by sister Gloria.

 Ramona came into prominence in the 1880s via the beautiful half Native American heroine of the best-selling eponymous romance novel by Helen Hunt Jackson, played on screen by Loretta Young and others.
 Trivia tidbit: Ramona is the middle name of singer Avril Lavigne, as well as the first name of the actress who plays the adorable little girl in the British sitcom Outnumbered.

Quinton is among several attractive Q-beginning, n-ending two-syllable <a href="https://nameberry.com/boys-names">names for boys</a>, that also includes Quentin (the most popular iteration) and Quenton. They only suffer from their similarity and possible spelling confusion, ala girls' names Kristin, Kirsten and sisters.
 
Quinton has slipped a bit in the standings over the past few years but remains an appealing choice. Quinton may be a descendant of the Roman family name Quintus, which means fifth, or may also be an English place-name meaning queen's manor or town.

Annabel is a spirited name that embodies quirky British gentility. Appearing in Scotland as early as the twelfth century, where it was a royal name, it also recalls the romantic Edgar Allan Poe poem Annabel Lee, written upon the death of his young wife, Virginia.
 In the Swinging Sixties, Annabel was in the thick of things as the name of London's trendiest disco and nightclub, named for the wife of the owner. The Annabel spelling is preferable today to Annabelle, too closely associated with the eponymous horror movie doll.
