Rylann

Inspired by the popularity of Rylan and Ryan, Rylann is a feminine leaning form, which blends in the classic Ann. Given to just 20 girls a year, it is far less popular than the Rylan spelling.

If derived from the Old English Ryland, Rylann could simple mean "rye land", though it could also be considered a modern creation, made up by borrowing the "Ry" from Ryan, linking it back to the Irish rí , giving it the meaning "king's land".

Rylann is also given to boys, where it ranks #11740 in the US.
