Lulita

A Spanish diminutive of Lourdes, Lucia, and other Lu- names, that likely came about as a elaboration of Lula, Luli, or Lula, much like the more widely known Lolita comes from Delores via Lola. Occasionally and quietly used in Spanish speaking countries, it still feels too similar Lolita and the associations attached to it by Nabokov's novel, for it to take off elsewhere.
