Josiahs

Josiahs is a modern variation of the Hebrew name Josiah, which means "God supports" or "God heals." The original name Josiah appears in the Bible as a revered king of Judah known for his religious reforms. This variant with the added 's' creates a distinctive twist on the traditional name while maintaining its biblical roots and significance. The name has seen modest usage in recent decades, particularly in English-speaking countries, as parents seek names with spiritual meaning and historical depth. Josiahs combines traditional virtue with a contemporary feel, appealing to families valuing both heritage and uniqueness in their naming choices.
