The proper pronunciation of this is tear-a, like Kira with a T. This is my half-sister's middle name. I was named after her, but with me my parents spelled it Tiera, so I wouldn't be called Thigh-ra. (Of course my name is still mispronounced all the time, usually as Tee-air-uh, but occasionally as Tiara.)
