This name is experiencing a resurgence. in the Irish spelling, (Tadhg) Pronounced Taig. People saying that Irish people find this name offensive are wrong otherwise the non-anglicanized version wouldn't be the 32nd most popular name in Ireland.... It's only recently that in the Irish Republic that the non-anglicanized version has surged in popularity. Such a beautiful name

I like 1-syllable, crisp, boy names. But for some reason this sounds like a screech to my ears. I prefer Kitt or Lance.

If you're going to change the pronunciation that much might as well use Tig, or spell it like it sounds and be unique, otherwise people (especially scots and irishmen) will think you have no idea how the name is supposed to be pronounced

I like this a lot, especially as a nickname for Teagan (Teaguen?)

Apparently this is used as a derogatory name for Irish Catholics in Ireland (think the n-word here). However, my husband is half-Scottish and I like the idea of Teague (as in "leg" not "league) as a middle name.

I am crushing on this name right now! I love how it is so uncommon, yet seems very familiar. I dig the energy this name has, and how it seems happy, yet has a crisp quality.
