It's a sound alike to Segel/Segel and most wouldn't think twice about those. I also think Pigeon and Crow make great middles. But then, I am a big lover of unusual word names.

I think it would make for a pretty spunky middle or second middle. I like the romanticised image of Jonathan Livingston Seagull, even though most seagull's don't really live up to Jonathan's standards.
