Rufous

A rare variation of clunky-cute Rufous, this form is largely associated with the Rufous Hummingbird, notable for its reddish-brown plumage. Appealing perhaps for ornithologists, it also appears in the name of the rufous-tailed hummingbird and the rufous hornero (also known as the red ovenbird).
