We named our daughter Reva. We have only had positive responses from people as it fits right in with the Emma/Ella/Eva type names that are popular now is different enough to stand out and has nostalgia for the older generations (although they are more used to Riva as a spelling). We call her "Reevee" or "Reev" to answer the nickname question.
