I can definitely see how Fatima would be pretty in another language. Unfortunately, in English, it's just never going to work.

Fátima is actually a very common and pretty name here, in Spain. I does have a good sound, it means captivating and unique, which is a nice meaning. It doesn't have teasing potential or parts that look wrong. And it has nicknames: Fatia, Ima/Imma...

This name is just as bad as Fatima on a girl... Not great. It has all the ticks in the boxes for a bad name:

Ugly sound (check!)
Bad meaning (check!)
Teasing potential (check!)
Part of it sounds/looks wrong (double check!)
No nicknames/bad nicknames (Pee-pee, body- check!)

My deepest sympathy goes to all the Peabody's out there in the world.

As someone who grew up with this as a last name, I love the history behind it and would happily give it to my child as a MIDDLE name...first name is a bit much. ;)

The funniest part about this name is the meaning. Who on earth thought "having the body of a gnat" was an admirable quality to impart to their child?

This would be a poor choice, poor kid.

Pee-pee is not a cute nickname.
