IvyRose and murp are both correct. Padraig has several pronunciations, but Pad-reek is definitely not one of them.

I agree with IvyRose, it is never pronounced Pad-dreek. Some of the pronunciation guides for Irish names make me doubt the reliability of nameberry for other names not familiar to Americans.

The pronunciation does change within Ireland but this names should be pronounced either Paw-drig, Paw-rig or Pour-ig never pad-dreek like it says here. There should also be an accent mark over the first a.
