Nadyezhda is the Russian pronunciation, there are other Slavic languages where they simply pronounce it Nadezhda, for example Bulgarian

I would spell it "Nadyezhda" because it's a more accurate transliteration and if you have learnt Cyrillic, you'll know that е is pronounced ye and э is pronounced eh.

Nah-DEsh-da (the zh is pronounced as the sh in "show". If you want to pronounce it the Russian way (this is the Bulgarian way) it's Nah-DJEsh-da.

I don't know about Nadezhda being a Polish name, but I do know that it is literally the Russian word for 'hope'.
