When I look at Diandra I see it as a mashup. I also haven't seen any history or proof it is a name on its own or comes from a separate root. I honestly don't have much faith in Nameberry when it comes to it's meaning on names but I really doubt this one. Diana meaning divine/heavenly and Alexandra meaning defender of man I am more likely to assume Diandra would have the meaning of "divine defender". That's how I see the name at least and I think it is a beautiful, strong yet feminine name, that would honor my mother, a Sandra, if I was to use it on future child.
