Arvor is an intriguing choice with two possible meanings. From Celtic and Breton, it means "woodland, forest, trees" and may be a cognate of Arbor from Cornish, however, it translates to "coast" or "where land meets sea". As such, this is a truly nature-inspired choice, whichever root you choose to follow.

Arvor

Dylan Alexander combines two powerful names with rich historical backgrounds. Dylan, of Welsh origin, means 'son of the sea' or 'born from the ocean,' and was popularized by the legendary poet Dylan Thomas. Alexander, derived from Greek, means 'defender of mankind' and carries associations with Alexander the Great, one of history's most successful military commanders. As a compound name, Dylan Alexander blends Celtic and Greek traditions while conveying qualities of depth, strength, and protection. This masculine combination has gained popularity in recent decades as parents seek names with both contemporary appeal and classical roots. The pairing creates a balanced, distinguished name that works well from childhood through adulthood.
