Leica is a camera brand that made the news years ago when a photographer gave it to his daughter. It has never charted as a baby name in the US but is definitely a plausible (and attractive) choice for the daughter of a photography lover.

The brand name is a combination of the founder's surname, Leitz, and the first two letters of "camera."

Yachy is an uncommon feminine name with somewhat unclear origins. It may be a variant spelling of Yachi, which could derive from various cultural backgrounds including Japanese, where 'yachi' can mean 'eight thousand.' Alternatively, it might be a creative modern invention or a variant of similar-sounding names. The name has a distinctive sound with its soft 'ch' ending, giving it a gentle yet memorable quality. Yachy remains quite rare in most countries, making it a unique choice for parents seeking an uncommon name with a melodic, multicultural feel.

Maedell is a feminine name with likely origins as a variant of Mabel or a combination of Mae and the suffix -dell. It has Southern American roots and was most popular in the early 20th century, particularly in rural communities. The name combines the delicate sound of Mae (derived from May, symbolizing spring and new growth) with the suffix -dell (meaning a small valley), creating a name that evokes pastoral charm. While never extremely common in mainstream American culture, Maedell maintains a distinct regional character and vintage appeal. Today, it's considered a rare name that might appeal to parents seeking a unique alternative to more popular Mae-derived names.
