A list of preppy, classic, chic, uncommon and overall strong boy names, derived mainly from names I have heard throughout the years.

Kove has the beachy feel of Cove, but with a touch of Koa and less of Covid — visually at least. It shot up the charts in 2021 when it more than tripled in popularity, and the following year saw it given to nearly 100 boys. While it has declined in a more recent count, it is possible it could rise back up again.

Like the more traditionally spelled Cove, Kove is associated with  small sheltered bays by the sea such as Lulworth Cove in the UK, or McWay Cove in the US. More generally, a cove refers to an arch, a nook or a cranny.
