German Names

We recently had the privilege of staying near Stuttgart, Germany in a quaint little village called Altenriet. I completely fell in love with it, so, I thought I would create a list of German names I love and like. I didn't do any research to see if these are all of German origin, but they are definitely popular there. :)

This nickname-name is very popular in Germany, though Lottie is still the preferred version in the US. The problem, of course, is that you'll have to put up with a lotta jokes. See?
