Names I Dislike For Girls

I'm always making lists of names I like so I thought it would be fun to turn it around and list names I personally don't care for. It's only my opinion however and you never know, you might just find a name you really like among the ones I don't. Enjoy!
  1. Mildred
    • Origin:

      English
    • Meaning:

      "gentle strength"
    • Description:

Is it clunky cute, strong and vintage, or dreadful and mildewy? Like Gertrude and Bertha, Mildred is one that divides the crowds, but with popular nickname Mildred and renewed interest in Winifred, Deborah, Millicent, and Gwendolen, it's not entirely out of the question that Mildred might make a return in coming years
  2. Quincy
    • Origin:

      French from Latin
    • Meaning:

      "estate of the fifth son"
    • Description:

Quincy is a Presidential surname name that actually sounds both cute and strong when used for a girl. For the first time ever, Quincy joined the Top 1000 roster for girls in 2023, given to over 250 baby girls that year.
  3. Beulah
    • Origin:

      Hebrew
    • Meaning:

      "married"
    • Description:

A name with a sound that is both unique and familiar, Beulah is a Biblical name, reminiscent of Bella, Luna, and Selah. In the Bible, Beulah is a place, applied to the land of Israel by the prophet Isaiah. 4. Emmylou
    • Origin:

      "work, universal + renowned warrior"
    • Description:
