Tiannah

One of several variations of Tiana, a name that rose up the charts in the 70s after actress Tiana Alexandra entered the spotlight, though it may now be linked to the 2009 Disney movie, The Princess and the Frog. Considered a diminutive of Tatiana (from Latin Tatius, meaning unknown) or possibly of Christiana ("Christian"), this form has been used quietly since the 90s, though it had its peak in 2007 when nearly 30 girls received the name. It is notably borne by stylist and entrepreneur, Tiannah Styling.

Pronounced tee-AHN-uh.

As of October 2026, Tiannah ranked #13685 for girls in US births in 2019 SSA, peaked at #5087 for girls in 2007.
