Sylphiette

The name of a green-haired half-elf character in the manga and anime, Mushoku Tensei, Sylphiette is likely inspired by the mythological air spirits known as sylphs. Part Seraphina "Sephy" and part Sylvie, with a hint of Juliet, it is an intriguing choice that made its US debut in 2023.

Associated with the other-worldly and invisible beings, as introduced in the 16th-century works of Paraclesus, Sylphiette might make an interesting alternative to Pixie, Seraphina, or Zephyrine. Given to 17 girls in a recent count, there is also a species of hummingbird called slylphs.

Pronounced sil-fee-ET.

As of October 2026, Sylphiette ranked #6797 for girls in US births in 2025 SSA.
