About Raylin
Raylin is a modern feminine name that has gained modest popularity in recent decades. This contemporary creation blends the popular 'Ray' sound (from names like Raymond or Rachel) with the fashionable '-lin' ending seen in names like Madelin or Kaylin. Raylin has a bright, sunny quality, possibly influenced by its connection to 'ray' as in a beam of light. While primarily used for girls, Raylin occasionally appears as a masculine name as well. The name represents recent American naming trends that favor distinctive sounds and novel combinations over traditional choices. With its approachable yet uncommon quality, Raylin appeals to parents seeking something fresh but not too unusual.
Raylin is also given to boys, where it ranks #6366 in the US.
