Liberti

Liberti is a feminine name that appears to be a modern variant spelling of Liberty. Derived from the Latin 'libertas' meaning 'freedom,' the name embodies ideals of independence and personal autonomy. This alternate spelling gives the traditional virtue name a softer, more feminine ending while maintaining its powerful meaning. As a virtue name, Liberti connects to important historical and political concepts, particularly in American culture where liberty is a foundational principle. While Liberty has seen modest usage throughout recent decades, the Liberti variant remains quite uncommon. The name appeals to parents drawn to meaningful virtue names with contemporary spelling. Liberti carries a spirited, independent quality that suggests strength of character and free-thinking.

Pronounced li-BER-tee.
