Rosette is actually another word for Anus in my language so I would never use this name.

Bassilly Says:

Lovely, and just a hair classier than Cosette for me.

Bassilly Says:

Rosetta makes me think of the Rosetta Stone language software.

I really like this as a middle name; a slight variation on the ever-popular Rose. My middle name is Rose and i love roses, so i'm thinking of passing the name down to a daughter somehow, though i don't really like the spanish/italian options of Rosa, Rosalia, Rosabella etc. Rosalind sounds too old, a name you have to grow into, but Rosette is lovely. The french translation is "little rose." My other running favorite is Roisin (ro-SHEEN), which is also Irish Gaelic for "little rose."

It would be a lovely name, but all I can think of is rosettes that you win in competitions. Is that word even spelt the same? I think so, but not sure. It feels like Rosette should have siblings called Medal and Trophy. Rosetta works fine as a name, somehow.

This is lovely. I does remind me of those chocolate candies.

Not Rosetta, associated with Rosetta Stone or Roseanne, associated with Roseanne Barr. It's hard to find the "perfect" name for our 4th daughter, but I think this is it.

This is really pretty.
