In Norwegian it is pronounced kind of like AY-r, not air, so I recon that's a more correct pronunciation even for English-speakers?

I have heard a lot of names that starts with Eir---, but never met anyone who have used it alone. I really like this name though and I think it's perfect for someone who want a name with a peaceful sound to it. It has an harmonical and unique vibe, and is quite beautiful.
