When I read it I thought it was said Dais-ye! I am pretty sick of these joke names though when there are many perfectly lovely names (spelled correctly) that do not appear on nameberry.

Well, I guess at least it's not something like Dayzeigh. But still.

CaribbeanQueen Says:

Or worse, "daze-yay". It could even be "day-sigh" or "day-zye", because they're changing the whole name and how it will be read. They're removing it from the word name category as well.

Same here; the rest are crazy. I thought of Faye, which I actually prefer with the "e".

Poppye, Ivye, Daisye. They just don't work...

A week ago I met someone with the same name as me, Avery but spelled as Averye, The e is so unnecessary

I hate them but Maye looks okay to me.

You can't beat DAISY - It's simple & easy

Nameberry has this obnoxious habit of adding or removing letters unecessarily.

Personally I prefer Daisy in its spelling and pronunciation. Seeing this spelling makes me wonder whether it's still pronounced the same way or if it's pronounced daze-yee.

I don't like it. It looks like it should be pronounced "daze-yee."

Emilye, Cindye, Felicitye, Maye, Marye, Nancye... >_<

What's with that e at the end? That just looks wrong and will cause spelling problems
