You know what, I have had enough with the snarky definitions on these names. Cher has a strong sound and good meaning, what's wrong with that? Some of these name infos are very insulting!

There is no way the world has enough Chers in it! I am due with our first baby in 2 months and if it's a girl we've settled on Cher Josephine! It's French, (like my name) so pretty but packed with personality! It's been tricky with friends and family struggling with the reference to 'Cher', but to be honest, it's the meaning 'beloved or darling one' that I love. Being a big personality myself, I really wanted something fabulous, Cher, classic.
