St Veeps is one of many delightfully-named villages in Cornwall dedicated to a local saint. Little is known about the real Saint Veep, except that she lived around the fifth century. She is sometimes associated with one of the many children of Brychan Brycheiniog, a semi-legendary king of south Wales.
